DOUBLE HEIGHT PENDANT REFRESH - Burnel’s Restaurant, Newcastle

Recently we had the privilege of working at a premier restaurant, Burnel’s in Newcastle, County Down, just beside the legendary Royal County Down Golf Club—widely regarded as one of the world’s greatest golf courses. In the lead-up to the Irish Open Golf Championship, the restaurant was buzzing with excitement, preparing to host some of the world’s top golfers and esteemed guests.

Our task was to restore the restaurant's stunning wire chandeliers that hang from its breathtaking 7-meter double-height ceiling. These 5 pendant lights, some with a diameter of 1 meter, create a dramatic focal point in the room. Our team meticulously cleaned the cords, and fixtures, ensuring they looked like new. Every chandelier was carefully detached, revamped, cleaned, rebulbed and rehung to match the restaurant's high standards.

During the Irish Open week, the restaurant welcomed many of the world’s leading golfers, making it more important than ever that the ambiance reflected its status. Thanks to our efforts, the beautifully refreshed chandeliers helped create an atmosphere worthy of such an iconic event.
